Polymers are commonly reinforced using fillers of various sizes in order to reduce their limitations and weaknesses and thereby expand their range of applications. The use of nano scale fillers to improve the mechanical and physical properties of polymers has led to the development of a wide variety of polymeric nanocomposites.

Nano granule, a product manufactured by Hafez Varesh Knowledge Based Production Complex, is produced by combining polymeric materials such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) (or a blend of both) with powdered materials and specific nanoparticles.
These nanoparticles include boric acid, borax salts, ammonium pentaborate, monoammonium phosphate, ammonium phosphate, chlorinated paraffin, titanium dioxide nanoparticles, and barium oxide nanoparticles, which are processed and converted into nano granules.

The result of this process is a flame-retardant polymer that does not burn even under direct exposure to fire.

This polymer exhibits high moldability in injection molding and rolling processes and can be converted into fire-resistant plastic films and sheets.
The nanoparticles used in this product have particle sizes ranging from 10 to 300 nanometers. Nano granules can also be produced in various colors.
