Honoring Hafez Varesh as an Exemplary Exporter and Recognizing 22 Top Exporters of Tehran
The ceremony honoring the top exporters of Tehran Province was held on 1 June 2025 (11 Khordad 1404) at the Espinas Persian Gulf Hotel.
This event was attended by the Governor of Tehran, the President of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization, representatives of the private sector, and economic associations. During the ceremony, in addition to recognizing the 22 top exporters of the province selected based on criteria such as foreign currency generation, depth of penetration in target markets, and being knowledge based solutions for improving export processes and reducing economic challenges were also discussed.
Furthermore, Hafez Varesh Knowledge Based Production Complex was given special recognition for its commendable performance and significant role in advancing the country’s exports.
Governor of Tehran: Exporters are on the front line of the economic war
The Governor of Tehran, Mohammad Sadegh Mo’tamediān, emphasized in this ceremony the vital role
of exports in reducing economic constraints and described exporters as being on the front line of the economic war. He called for stronger cooperation between economic actors, the government, and parliament to eliminate export barriers.
President of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization: Announcement of launching the second foreign exchange trading board to reduce economic concerns
Dehghān Dehnavi, the President of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization, also announced that the second foreign exchange trading board will be launched on 1 June (12 Khordad). This board will allow exporters and importers to determine prices by mutual agreement, which is considered a measure toward addressing economic concerns and creating greater stability in the foreign exchange market.
